North Meck Legislation and the New Legislation Page

Thursday, November 30th, 2006

We now have a new page dedicated to legislation for Congressional Debate. It can be found here or by clicking on the link for “Legislation” at the top of the page. On the new page, you will find legislation, all arranged in PDF files, for upcoming local and national tournaments. Recently added to the page is the legislation for North Meck.

The page has been created with the intention of making it easier for all of our congresspeople to receive legislative information, without having to hunt all over the web for it.

As always, if you have questions, feel free to email admin@mpdebate.org

New T-Shirts!

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

The Myers Park Debate Team is going to make specialized team shirts that are “more fun” for this year!

The officers have selected a few sayings related to debate that range from semi serious to hilarious and we are asking you to vote for your favorite on the forum here.

Anyone is welcome to vote – the more the better. If you aren’t registered on the forum, register and vote.

You may vote once. The winning selection will be printed on the shirts.

The shirts will be cheap (less than $8.00). The best part is, the more we order, the cheaper the cost.

The poll will close in one week (we will extend if we must). A proof of the winning shirt will be online next week.

Shirts hopefully will be ready before Winter break.

VOTE TODAY!

Thanks!
